Dumb Girl, I'll miss you
Dear Dumb Girl,
It hasn't even been a year since you started filling my days with remarkably stupid and memorable quotes. You've opened my eyes, I never thought people as numb as you existed. I appreciate your honesty in asking questions like: How do you spell Massachusetts? and Does tomorrow have two r's or two m's or What is Roshoshona?
Sometimes you may have thought my silence after these questions was because I did not know the answer either, but in fact, it was because I was actually stupefied by the depth of your questions.
It is with sadness that I compose this letter, knowing I only have a few more short hours to spend with you and your semi-functioning brain. I will miss the countless instances of confusion that appeared on your face when people around the office used words like "implode," "rudimentary," or "Geisha."
Good luck Dumb Girl, it will be hard to replace you... very hard indeed.
In memorandum I have compiled a short list of your most remarkable moments in my life. They can be found here for your convenience. Please stay in touch, as I don't know how I will go on without you.
