Thank you Gerry
Where the vale of Onondaga
Meets the eastern sky
Proudly stands our Alma Mater
On her hilltop high.
Flag we love! Orange!
Float for aye-
Old Syracuse, o'er thee,
Loyal be thy sons and daughters
To thy memory.

Thank you Gerry for an amazing four years of Syracuse basketball. As a freshman you brought us a championship, and as a senior you brought us pride when we had none left. Your four years on the court will not soon be forgotten and we will always remember all the "overrated" Gerry McNamara, amazing game-winning three pointers. Thank you for carrying yourself like a true sportsman and never letting yourself get bigger than the game. Your legacy will live on and we will always be proud of you. Your poise under pressure has taught your team a great deal about patience and attitude. Your leadership will be greatly missed in the upcoming seasons and the team will be hard-pressed to groom another such athlete as you are. You are the embodiment of everything that bleeds Orange, and damn son, we're proud of you.
Sincerely,
Every Syracuse Fan, Alumni, Student, Past, Present, Future.
